Evan's talent is far beyond his years. Equally talented in his guitar playing, his vocal ability and his songwriting, Evan is a triple-threat. But even more remarkable is his love for the Lord and his desire to use his gifts to impact this culture for the Kingdom. I've loved having him on tour with me, but now I'll also love cheering him on from the audience.                                                                                                                             Natalie Grant, Recording Artist/Writer

Over the course of five seasons on The Revolve Tour, we’ve had the opportunity to watch Evan’s journey from band member to solid solo performer.  Although he was the youngest member of the band when he joined us, Evan’s talent was never in question - and neither was his heart.  It has been a joy to see him grow into his gifts and calling.  Wherever God may lead him in the future, Evan will always be considered a member of The Revolve Tour family.

Lori Robertson, Women Of Faith, Revolve Tour

Bio
Evan was influenced by music at a young age, thanks largely to his parents who served as worship pastors.  Evan was encouraged to pick up the guitar at the age of ten and began leading worship for his youth group.  His hard work, dedication to his church, and his calling, would soon pay off.  Merely three years later, Evan met successful Christian recording artist, Natalie Grant, and her husband/producer Bernie Herms at church as part of the youth choir led by Geron Davis.  Soon doors of opportunity began to open.  Evan began writing with Geron Davis for the youth choir, which eventually led to him writing and signing several songs to Brentwood-Benson and Integrity publishing.  He was also featured as a soloist on recordings for both companies.  Evan also began writing with Bernie Herms and plans for a project for Evan began to form.

Evan soon hit the road with Women of Faith’s conference for teenage girls called the “Revolve Tour”.  He was invited by Natalie and Bernie to be a guitarist for Natalie Grant (a featured artist on the tour) and to play in the worship team band, led by Bernie. Evan’s musical gifts and his passion for worship were soon recognized and Revolve asked him to be a worship leader. The” Revolve” tour’s extensive schedule has allowed Evan to sing and lead worship for over 100,000 girls in major arenas across the U.S. each of the past five years. Natalie Grant told Evan( at age 15)” If you stay true to your calling, the Lord will allow you to perform in front of the same size crowds and venues as any secular Rock or Pop artist in the world”. She was right! And Evan has never looked back!

In 2007 at age 17, Evan was asked to be the featured worship leader at “The Global Day of Prayer”, “Reunion Arena, Dallas Texas. The event was televised worldwide on “God TV”and”DayStar”. He was backed by a 1,000 voice choir and shared the stage with T.D.Jakes, Ron Luce, Dr. Robert Bakke, Jack Graham, and Luis Palau. That same year Evan was honored to play guitar for Natalie Grant at the”Tim McGraw and Friends concert. The “Ryman auditorium” in Nashville Tennessee. What a thrill at 17!

In addition to the wonderful recording opportunities, Evan has performed internationally. He was the Worship leader for “On the Go Ministries” to Costa Rica and most recently Ireland. He will soon be traveling to South Africa for a world wide worship event. Evan has traveled across America with, Geron & Becky Davis, performing in some of the nations largest churches, worship conferences, and on Christian Television’s largest networks. It has been his distinct privilege to share the stage with such artists as Natalie Grant, Nicole C. Mullens, Sandi Patty, Britt Nicole, Tammy Trent, Zoe Girl, Hawk Nelson, Chris Sligh, KJ 52, Ayesha Wood, Stellar Kart, Group one Crew, and many others. In 2009 and 2010 Evan had the honor of being the only featured artist not signed to a major label to perform at the Gospel Music Association’s “Immerse” event.  In 2010 He also had a solo slot at the “Gospel Music Nashville” Celebration, Sponsored by “The Family Friendly TV Network” and hosted by Naomi Judd. Evan shared the stage with The Oakridge Boys, The Isaacs, Guy Penrod, Jason Crabb and many more. It is apparent that Evan has gained the respect of major artists from all genres of music.

Although the touring schedule has been demanding, he is still making time to log some serious hours in the studio preparing his debut solo album with producer Bernie Herms. (producer for Casting Crowns, Phillips, Craig, & Dean, Natalie Grant, Promise Keepers, etc.) In 2009 Evan was honored to have signed with “INK” records as the first artist on their roster. His first project is a showcase which will launch him to an incredible place in the Christian music world. The album will feature all original material with Evan recording all vocals and guitar! Evan is quick to describe his music as pop/rock with a bit of funk vibe!  He says his music could be labeled “John Mayer meets Maroon5”.  He also cites other musical influences such as Stevie Ray Vaughn, Jimi Hendrix, Eric Clapton, Marc Brussard, Dave Barnes and Phil Keaggy. Evan’s music is universally accepted. Whether at a rock festival or the local Church, Evan fits right in.  Churches and choirs across the country are performing, recording, and worshiping with his music.

His passion is to write and play music which inspires and encourages those he encounters. Whether it’s the “Bluebird Café”, a church youth group, or a major arena, Evan loves to perform “ALL OUT” with unwavering purpose and meaning.

2011/2012 is booking fast and I am definitely up to the challenge!  I am so humbled and thankful for these amazing opportunities. Phil Keaggy once told me” You are blessed, now go be a blessing!” Please partner in prayer with me that the Lord Jesus will be glorified and that I can continue to encourage others to be“World Changers” with me!

Remember! No matter who you are or what you’ve done. “He can change your story”!

Peace!
Evan
