I need your feedback.

Early next year my book, The Night Terror, will be published. I am weighing my options on how to launch the book into the market. One option I am looking into is conducting a pre-order book sale.  This would be just as it sounds. You would be able to order a copy of the book prior to publishing. Once the book is published, you will be sent a copy. If I do go this route, I might even make sure that each copy is signed and would be able to include a special message if requested. The books will be for sale at retail and I will still need to cover the cost of shipping. I would donate a portion of the proceeds to charitable organizations or divide it between various organizations. Two of the organizations I would consider donating to include Marion Medical Mission (who builds shallow wells in Africa) and a local school. The main reason I would offer this campaign would be to generate some income to better market the book upon its release. In other words, you would be helping me out. Before I make my decision, I would greatly appreciate feedback from my readers. Please leave me a comment and let me know if you would be interested in participating in such a campaign.
